Google Sucks For Engaging in Censorship & Preference to Corporations

GOOGLE / YOUTUBE FAILING TO REMOVE PURVEYORS OF FALSE INFORMATION

Per the above post from Youtube’s site, they claim to have a “Misinformation Policy”… “misleading or deceptive content with serious risk of egregious harm are not allowed on YouTube. This includes certain types of misinformation that can cause real-world harm, like promoting harmful remedies or treatments, certain types of technically manipulated content, or content interfering with democratic processes”.

FOX LIES and promotes proven false conspiracy theories all the time proving Google’s “Misinformation Policy” is BULLSHIT which they fail to enforce against corporate giants like FOX FAKE NEWS.

Fox News host Sean Hannity admitted under oath that he never believed Trump was cheated of victory in the 2020 presidential election.

2 Weeks after the Election was called for Joe Biden, Fox Pundits cast doubt on the results nearly 800 times

Fox News repeatedly aided Trump’s efforts to undermine election results, laying the groundwork to cry foul if Trump lost, echoing debunked theories of fraud, pushing the idea that Democrats are trying to “steal” this from him, and arguing that Trump is justified in pursuing his claims of a rigged election. This pattern of coverage continued in the lead-up to the day of the riots.

Despite the fact that FOX has repeatedly LIED and been a purveyor of false information, Google / YouTube has allowed FOX to remain active on their platform, proving that Google / YouTube doesn’t enforce their own policies.

Per the above article; “YouTube said it won’t remove a video that claims Democrats are committing voter fraud against Republican ballots, despite admitting the video undermines confidence in elections.

The video, titled “Trump won” and posted by right-leaning media organization One American News Network on YouTube Wednesday morning, shows OAN anchor Christina Bobb saying “President Trump won four more years in the office last night.”

The video continues to make unsubstantiated claims of “rampant voter fraud” against Republican ballots while urging viewers to “take action” against Democrats. The video has more than 300,000 views.

Google-owned YouTube’s policies say it will remove content “encouraging others to interfere with democratic processes, such as obstructing or interrupting voting procedures.” Last month, the company tightened its policies to include removing targeted conspiracy theory-driven videos that may result in real-life violence.

After publication, YouTube spokesperson Andrea Faville explained that the company’s “Community Guidelines” refer to videos discouraging voting but not to videos that advocate interference after votes have been cast.

“Our Community Guidelines prohibit content misleading viewers about voting, for example content aiming to mislead voters about the time, place, means or eligibility requirements for voting, or false claims that could materially discourage voting,” Faville stated in an email to CNBC. “The content of this video doesn’t rise to that level, so it wasn’t removed.”

However, YouTube said it discontinued ads on the video, eliminating a revenue stream for its creators.

“We do not allow ads to run on content that undermines confidence in elections with demonstrably false information,” spokeswoman Christa Muldoon said in an emailed response to CNBC. “The election has not been called. Therefore, this is in scope of our demonstrably false policy and will be demonetized on YouTube.”

The confusing response from YouTube comes as social media companies face pressure to contain misinformation and avoid political bias — especially around the contentious 2020 U.S. elections. The company removed livestreamed channels on Election Day after a report found YouTube was showing misleading voter outcomes.

Early Wednesday morning, President Trump falsely claimed presidential victory even though millions of legitimate votes had yet to be counted and races in half a dozen swing states still had not been called.

Several hours later, One American News Network, which has 193,000 YouTube subscribers, posted the video. In it, an anchor says Democrat leaders are “tossing republican ballots” and “harvesting fake ballots.” It remained on YouTube for two hours and racked up more than 150,000 views before YouTube placed a label underneath the video that says “Results may not be final.”

“The Democrat party wants to hold Americans hostage and they’ll use violence to do it,” the anchor says in the video. “Democrats are boldly cheating because they think they have you fooled. Let them know, they aren’t fooling anyone.”

The anchor urges viewers to “take action” and “rise up” while the video displays phone numbers of Secretaries of State for viewers to call.

On Thursday morning, OAN uploaded another video titled “DAY 2. TRUMP WON. DEMS TRYING TO PULL FAST ONE” that started with Bobb stating, “Trump won, but Democrats think we’re stupid and they tried to steal the battleground states.”

All of the info above is SLANDEROUS and FALSE yet the video is STILL active as of 4/3/2022.

The list of options above appears if you click the “report” link by each video and as you can see, as of 4/3/2022 there’s no way to report a video with misinformation, lies or false information.

Here’s a link to the video.

Three takeaways from the above article;

1.  This proves Google / YouTube is a flawed organization which “selectively” enforces their community standards and Terms of Service. Doing so opens them up to lawsuits.

2. Democrats should SUE for slander due to their making outrageously false claims seen not only on YouTube but on their cable channel by possibly millions of people.

3. Democrats could sue google for damages by failing to enforce their own community standards, failing to remove OAN’s video which makes false and liableous claims that violate googles own community standards and Terms of Service.  (DISCLAIMER: I’m not a lawyer, these are just legal opinions)

PROOF of GOOGLE / YOUTUBE CORPORATE BIAS

Google / YouTube placed a Age Restriction on a video posted by an “Average Joe” but failed to post a “age restriction” on a video with similar and more graphic content posted by the CBS Evening News.

Here’s a notice I received on 11-10-2021 from YouTube about restricting content on a news related video which I posted in 2017.

Here’s a screenshot of the video with “age restricted” notice by YouTube. The video was unlisted and it was originally posted on June 22. 2017.  The date I received the notice was 11-10-2021, so it took them over 4 years to flag my video which only had 4 views.

Here’s a screenshot of a video posted by CBS Evening News with similar content to my video (only much more graphic) which YouTube failed to age restrict.

Video Posted by CBS News. No Restriction Video I posted which YouTube age restricted

Here’s the 2 videos side by side proving Google / YouTube discriminates against “small fries” and give preferential treatment to HUGE Corporations. The video posted by CBS News was far more graphic than my video, further proving Corporate Bias.

Also, the victim, Philando Castile did nothing wrong yet our “Justice System” allowed the cops to get away with murdering / executing him.  Another example of how our “Justice System” sucks.

GOOGLE GIVING PAGE ONE, TOP POSITIONS TO LARGE CORPORATE SITES IN THEIR SEARCH RESULTS

This site was started in 2009 and it used to rank #1 in google for titles & descriptions of most of the articles posted. It also had 10’s of thousands of facebook likes instead of about 1,200. The reason the likes disappeared is because search engines began demanding (in 2019) sites were SSL or suffer loss of ranking & indexing. This means instead of HTTP, sites had to be HTTPS. Adding SSL to the site and an “S” to HTTP caused the facebook “likes” counter to be reset to “O”.

In 2017 google made changes to their algorithms causing primarily large corporate sites such as Facebook, Pinterest, Esty, The Daily Beast, Washington Post, New York Times etc to show at the top of search results… and this site, nowhere to be found.  By giving top position preference to sites like Facebook & Twitter, Google is not delivering the best choices for their users. Often, sites like Facebook & Twitter are the biggest spreaders of misinformation.

Google is doing the same thing to small businesses… showing large corporate sites like Walmart, Target, Ebay & Amazon while burying small businesses in their search results.

These changes made it so only about half of the pages on this site are showing in google on page 1. Many of pages which used to show on page one of their search results are no where to be found.

If your a conservative and hate this site, the same thing is happening to conservative blogger sites… they are also getting squeezed out by google in favor of large corporate sites.

Conservatives has been complaining for years about google not showing their sites, as stated in an article at Theblaze.com: “Google is biased against conservative websites.”

This site has been online since 2009, was the first to use the name “Republicans Suck” and is CLEARLY the most relevant site on the internet for the search term “Republicans Suck“, yet it’s not showing in google’s search results until page 5. By contrast, this site shows on page 1 of Yahoo / Bing. (Bing provides the server and search engine for Yahoo so Bing & Yahoo shows the same results).

Most of the pages on this site has videos and articles from reliable mainstream news sources like NBC and CNN with comments.

(Click full screen for best view of video)

In the above search example, there’s a page title on this site called; “Republicans who believe the 2020 election was stolen are stupid“.  There’s no other exact match for this phrase on the internet yet Google fails to show the exact match for this site until page 5 of their search results, proving what an inferior corporate biased search engine google is and how they also engage in censorship by failing to show the most relevant match on their page 1 search results.

Search for “Mike Pence Sucks” in google and large corporate sites are shown in the search results, yet this site which has the most extensive info about Mike Pence Sucks isn’t showing.

Search for “Ted Cruz Sucks” in google and large corporate sites are shown in the search results, yet this site which has the most extensive info about Ted Cruz Sucks isn’t showing.

Search for “Kevin McCarthy Sucks” in google and large corporate sites are shown in the search results, yet this site which has the most extensive info about Kevin McCarthy Sucks isn’t showing.

These are just a few examples of what an inferior search engine Google is.

Despite Google not showing this site in most of their search results, it has remained popular on it’s on and gets traffic from other sources. As of today’s date, this site is in the top 100,000 sites in the United States and has an Alexa Ranking of 24,285.

GOOGLE FILTERING WHAT’S “POLITICALLY CORRECT”

If you want to find webpages showing things, businesses and names of people who “sucks”, “is an idiot”, “a dumb ass” etc you’ll have to search in Bing or Yahoo to find what you’re looking for.

If you run a search for the name of a person or just about anything which “sucks” in google, you’ll find they have pretty much stopped showing on the first page of their search results (called SERPS) web pages with search phrases with words like “sucks”, “idiot”, “dumb ass”, etc in it.

Example… search-phrases like; “xyz business sucks”, “joe blow sucks”, “joe blow is an idiot” etc.

Google should not be filtering what is appropriate and politically correct to show in their search results, but they are.

Failing to show the most relevant web pages which has information matching what someone is looking for is CENSORSHIP.

GOOGLE SHOWING SITES IN THEIR SEARCH RESULTS WHICH CAN’T BE VIEWED UNLESS YOU HAVE A PAID SUBSCRIPTION

Sites such as the Washington Post and the New York Times can’t be viewed unless you have a paid subscription so this is a waste of slots of page one, top 10 search results.

A search engine should be showing sites in their search results which has information which is readily available to read, NOT helping giant News sites promote subscriptions so they can make more money.

HOW GOOGLE PROFITS FROM NOT SHOWING SMALL BUSINESSES AND BLOGS IN THE 1ST PAGE OF THEIR SEARCH RESULTS

Most people who uses the internet use Google since they’ve been brainwashed & fooled into believing it’s the best search engine. It’s not, nor has it EVER been.

Google gives priority to large corporate sites while often burying the most relevant sites with the best information (if they’re not some corporate giant site). So if you use google exclusively, you may never see sites like RepublicansSuck.org or small businesses which doesn’t have large advertising budgets.

Since Page One of the search results are taken up by large corporate sites… if a small business owner wants to be seen in Google’s Page One Search Results, they must BID against other businesses and PAY Google as much as $10 or more a click to be seen.

Google makes billions from businesses wanting to be seen in their search results, so there’s an incentive to NOT SHOW small businesses and blogs on Page One. It’s sort of a “pay to play” scheme.

HOW TO FORCE GOOGLE TO SHOW SITES WITH MOST RELEVANT INFORMATION

To get an EXACT MATCH in google, use quotation marks around your searches like this; “your keyword phrase”.

Example: Trump Lying to the World About Winning 2020 Election is the title of an article on this site.

Try searching in google for “Trump Lying to the World About Winning 2020 Election” with and without quotations, like this;

Trump Lying to the World About Winning 2020 Election

“Trump Lying to the World About Winning 2020 Election”

You’ll find, using quotations, the above article comes up #1 in google.

Using quotations tells google you want an Exact Match.

Unfortunately most people don’t know about this so they end up getting the homogenized, politically correct BS Google serves up.

OTHER PEOPLE HAVE NOTICED THAT GOOGLE SUCKS

It’s not just me who says “Google Sucks”… here’s copies of a comments from people on Reddit saying why they think Google Sucks

Bipartisan Bill Would Eliminate Big Tech Algorithms For Users

A bipartisan group of lawmakers in the House of Representatives are currently drafting legislation that would force tech giants to offer algorithm-free searches and feeds for users. Users would be given the option to opt out of the algorithms or to leave them in place. This could easily help level the playing field for smaller content creators to gain access to a new audience, and that’s always a positive thing.

Ruthless Dictator Vladimir Putin Threaten Google and They Caved

Google Cowed By Putin, Removed Russian Protest Voting App As Election Begins

Under pressure from Russian authorities, Google and Apple reportedly removed an app meant to coordinate protest votes to oust corrupt Putin Cronies.

Google Sucks for caving to Dictator Putin’s demands to remove Protest Voting Apps

Google is NOT the Best Search Engine

The fact is that Google is not the best Search Engine and has always been a FLAWED Search Engine which can be manipulated (a site’s ranking can be increased in google by buying links on high authoritative sites), and which doesn’t always show the best and most reliant websites in it’s search results.

Google Gives HUGE Corporate Websites Preferential Treatment

In 2017, Google made changes to their algorithms causing primarily large corporate sites such as Washington Post, New York Times, Twitter, Facebook, Walmart, Ebay, Amazon, etc to show at the top and on page one of search their results (SERP) while BURYING smaller sites with more relevant information.

RIP Google, a Search Engine from 1998-2018

Back in the late 90’s, we had a choice of search engines: Altavista, Infoseek, Lycos, Dogpile and probably others I have long since forgotten. Then, with little warning or fanfare, a new competitor, “Google” showed up, offering far better search results, that initially baffled SEOs ( an industry that was yet to be named at the time) as to how to optimize for them.

Leaked Google research shows company grappling with censorship and free speech

A leaked research presentation put together by employees of Google shows the extent to which the search giant is grappling with decisions around freedom of speech and censorship.

Say goodbye to Google: 14 alternative search engines – Search Engine Watch

If you’re a regular Google user (65% of you globally) then you’ll have noticed some changes, both good and bad. I won’t debate the merits of these improvements, we’ve done that already here: Google kills Right Hand Side Ads and here: Google launches Accelerated Mobile Pages, but there’s a definite feeling of vexation that appears to be coming to a head.

Google is the Engine of Censorship – 21st Century Wire

21st Century Wire says… Late last year, search engine giant Google announced its plans to protect users from the horrors of ‘fake news’ by changing the way it presents search results. According to corporate officials, they hope to shelter readers by limiting access to what the company deems as “low-quality” information – while promoting what it calls ‘established’ mainstream sources.
