North Carolina Preacher / Pastor Sean Harris who is a Republican makes Anti-Gay remarks which seems to encourage child abuse during his sermon.
REPUBLICAN Senator Ted Cruz from Texas, attended a National Religious Liberties Conference event where a Pastor Kevin Swanson advocated the “Death Penalty” for Gay People.
Is it important to note that the bible also advocates the Death Penalty for working on Sunday and Adultery:
Exodus 31:15 “Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death”.
Leviticus 20:10: “If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife–with the wife of his neighbor–both the adulterer and the adulteress are to be put to death”.
No mention by this “Pastor” about those quotes… an example of how radicals uses the bible selectively to justify their point of view.
Much was made by the news media and Republicans during the 2008 election about Pastor Jeremiah Wright’s “chickens coming how to roost” statement at a church Barack Obama attended.
Virtually nothing has been said by the news media about Ted Cruz attending a Religious Conference in which the pastor advocated the “Death Penalty” for Gay People and Cruz failed to denounce the pastor’s statements. And conservatives complain about the “liberal media”.

Most people with some sense of universal human dignity have found the screed Pastor Charles Worley issued against the GLBT community from the pulpit recently repugnant.
Americans United for Separation of Church and State‘s Barry W. Lynn submitted a letter to the Internal Revenue Service arguing that Worley violated his church’s 501(c)3 nonprofit status by interfering in an election while speaking on behalf of his church.
