Paul Walczak pleaded guilty to his crimes, was sentenced to prison and ordered to pay $4.4 million in restitution. But after Paul’s mother, Elizabeth Betsy Fago attended a one million dollar a plate Mara-a-Lago fundraiser, Trump pardoned her son, shortly before he was to report to prison to begin serving his term. Adding insult to injury, the pardon negated the court’s order that Walczak pay restitution for the money he stole from Social Security – the money he stole from the American people.
