During the 2016 GOP primaries, Ted Cruz called Trump a “Pathological Liar who doesn’t know the difference between truth and lies” and claimed Trump “is a narcissist at a level this country’s never seen”. Even ex-Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan referred to Trump as an ‘Authoritarian Narcissist’.
