Ted Cruz’s Dad Claimed His Son Ran for President After God Sent His Wife a Sign
According to Rafael Cruz, “My son Ted and his family spent six months in prayer seeking God’s will for this decision. But the day the final green light came on, the whole family was together. It was a Sunday. We were all at his church, First Baptist Church in Houston, including his senior staff. After the church service, we all gathered at the pastor’s office. We were on our knees for two hours seeking God’s will. At the end of that time, a word came through his wife, Heidi. Ted Cruz argued before the US Supreme Court to keep a man in prison for 16 years for stealing a calculator knowing that the man was unjustly sentenced to a much longer term than he should have been.

Is it important to note that the bible also advocates the Death Penalty for working on Sunday and Adultery:
Exodus 31:15 “Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death”.
Leviticus 20:10: “If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife–with the wife of his neighbor–both the adulterer and the adulteress are to be put to death”.
No mention by this “Pastor” about those quotes… an example of how radicals uses the bible selectively to justify their point of view.
Much was made by the news media and Republicans during the 2008 election about Pastor Jeremiah Wright’s “chickens coming how to roost” statement at a church Barack Obama attended.
Virtually nothing has been said by the news media about Ted Cruz attending a Religious Conference in which the pastor advocated the “Death Penalty” for Gay People and Cruz failed to denounce the pastor’s statements. And conservatives complain about the “liberal media”.
Rafael Cruz, Ted’s Dad has been telling Ted for years that Ted is an ‘Anointed King’ who will bring about the “End Times Wealth Transfer”.
Rafael Cruz, Ted’s Dad brainwashed his son into believing that God Destined Him For Greatness. Rafael Cruz described his son’s political campaign as a direct fulfillment of biblical prophecy. Ted Cruz therefore believes he was destined to be President and believes he is entitled to be president because it’s the will of God that he becomes President.
Ted Cruz claims to credits his Iowa presidential primary victory to divine intervention. A more believable credit for divine intervention would have been for Ted Cruz to have won the state of New York, which he didn’t. Almost anyone would agree that it would have taken a miracle for Cruz to have won New York.
Like ISIS, he believes in no separation between Church and State. He also believes the end times are near and if elected, he may engage in an all out war in the Mid-East which could cause WW III.

1. When Ted Cruz announced his candidacy, he said one of his main priorities as President was to defend traditional marriage.

2. He supports Indiana Governor Mike Pence and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

3. He’s accused LGBT people of waging “jihad” on Christians.

5. He introduced a bill that would only allow states to define marriage.
“I support traditional marriage. Under President Obama, the federal government has tried to re-define marriage, and to undermine the constitutional authority of each state to define marriage consistent with the values of its citizens,” Cruz said. “The Obama Administration should not be trying to force gay marriage on all 50 states. We should respect the states, and the definition of marriage should be left to democratically elected legislatures, not dictated from Washington. This bill will safeguard the ability of states to preserve traditional marriage for its residents.
6. He’s encouraged pastors to take part in civil disobedience against same-sex marriage.
“Well, listen, if government tries to silence pastors, if government tries to force believers to violate their faith, it is my hope that believers honor their faith and disregard unjust edicts from government”.

Cruz went on to lie about Obama’s record on abortion. “Do you realize,” he asked a room of conservatives, “the first bill President Obama signed into law was to legalize third trimester abortions?” Then, referring to Kermit Gosnell, the abortion provider convicted of murdering babies this year, Cruz said, Obama “probably doesn’t have any problem with what this butcher in Philadelphia is doing.”

When Barack Obama was running for President, Republicans and the news media made a huge deal out of him attending the church where Jeremiah Wright was the pastor. But virtually nothing has been said by the news media about Ted Cruz attending an event where the preacher advocated the “Death Penalty” for Gay People or about his upbringing from a father who’s views are far more radical than Jeremiah Wright’s.
Pastor Jeremiah Wright’s “chickens coming how to roost” statement (which Republicans and the news media made a huge deal about), is nothing compared the type of beliefs and teachings Ted Cruz must have grown up listening to.
Having a father teaching such radical beliefs is of far greater influence than attending church on Sunday and listening to a preacher once a week.
