Trump 2018 State of the Union Address Lies

Trump’s State of the Union address had one false statement every 4.5 minutes

Trump averaged one false claim ever four and a half minutes of his first State of the Union. He’s definitely no stranger to “alternative facts” he made plenty of assertions during the speech, which simply weren’t true.

For example, the president stated, “After years and years of wage stagnation, we are finally seeing rising wages.”

This is actually a false claim, as wages have actually fallen.

He also claimed that the war on American energy has finally ended, as well as the war on “beautiful clean coal” — which is false on several levels, considering there wasn’t a war on American energy and clean coal doesn’t exist.

He asserted that since, the election, 2.4 million new jobs have been created, even though this is actually the slowest gain in jobs since 2010.

He claimed that he has enacted the biggest tax cuts and reforms in American history, and that the “massive” tax cuts provide tremendous relief for the middle class and small businesses. Both of these statements are also false, considering that over 75% of said cuts went toward the wealthy.

Trump claimed his 2018 State of the Union address was the most watched in history…. ANOTHER TRUMP LIE added to the over 2,000 since becoming installed as President by UN-democratic Electoral College.

As you can see from the above chart, DEMOCRAT Bill Clinton holds the record for most watched State of the Union Address. Proving once again that Trump is a delusional, self absorbed idiot, LIAR and a Legend in his Own Mind.

PT BARNUM TRUMP claims EVERYTHING he does is ALWAYS the “Biggest”, “Best” “Greatest” and “Most Watched” because he’s a Delusional Narcissistic Psychopath.

What probably wasn’t a lie is that “Fox Fake News” beat every other network, because Fox is the official Republican / Trump Propaganda Network watched by mindless Republican / Conservative minions.

Bernie Sanders’ BRILLIANT Response to Trump’s State of the Union Address

Bernie Sanders isn’t buying what Donald Trump is selling. In his response to the President’s first speech before Congress, Sanders calls out Trump for going back on his campaign promises, lying about corporate tax rates, and continues his push for a single-payer healthcare system.

Joe Kennedy III’s  Response to Trump’s State of the Union Address

Rep. Joe Kennedy (D-MA) sharply criticized President Donald Trump and his administration, giving the Democratic party’s response to the State of the Union with a speech that became a rallying cry around key causes that make up his party’s coalition. Kennedy, who spoke in front of a Mustang on a car lift in the autoshop at Diman Regional Technical School in Fall River, Massachusetts, pitched the Democratic Party as a party that helps “Coal miners or single moms. Rural communities or inner cities. The coast or the heartland.” “So here is the answer Democrats offer tonight: we choose both,” he said. “We fight for both. Because the strongest, richest, greatest nation in the world shouldn’t leave any one behind.”

Kennedy, who comes from one of the most prominent families in American politics, referenced helping immigrants, addressing those affected by the expiring Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and at one point speaking to them in Spanish. He indirectly referenced Trump as a “bully” during his response. “Bullies may land a punch. They might leave a mark,” the Massachusetts Democrat said. “But they have never, not once, in the history of our United States, managed to match the strength and spirit of a people united in defense of their future.” He also tied the turmoil of the past year to Trump’s administration, saying, “We all feel the fault lines of a fractured country … We hear the voices of Americans who feel forgotten and forsaken.”
