GOP Rep. Barry Loudermilk Led Capitol Tour One Day Before January 6

January 6 Committee Investigating Capitol Tours Given By Republicans Before Riot

The January 6th Committee has decided to finally look into the fact that certain Republicans gave tours to visitors on the day before the Capitol Riot, even though such tours were not allowed. One lawmaker, Barry Loudermilk, had claimed that it didn’t happen, but video surveillance footage has already proved that this isn’t true.

According to new reports, some Republican lawmakers were instrumental in helping to both plan and promote the “Stop the Steal” rally that turned into a storming of the U.S. Capitol. Every single one of these lawmakers should be expelled from Congress and they should be brought up on the same charges that Trump is now facing with his impeachment. This was a deadly day, and people have to be held accountable.

AZ Democrats call for investigation into 4 state lawmakers’ possible roles in the Capitol riots

Video has surfaced of a right-wing activist claiming Rep. Paul Gosar and Rep. Andy Biggs helped him organize the protests the day of the riots.

Eight Democratic legislative leaders are asking the FBI and the Justice Department to investigate four Arizona Republican officials over their alleged roles in the Jan. 6 riot where protesters breached the U.S. Capitol, resulting in five deaths.

In their letter, the Democrats say that state Rep. Mark Finchem of Oro Valley and now-former state Rep. Anthony Kern of Glendale were present in Washington, D.C., “and actively encouraged the mob, both before and during the attack on the the Capitol.”

Finchem and Kern “sought to conceal the consequences of their conduct by falsely blaming ‘Antifa,’” the letter says.

Democrats’ claims against GOP U.S. Reps. Andy Biggs and Paul Gosar stem from a claim by Ali Alexander, who organized the “Stop the Steal” movement, that he worked with them and Alabama U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks on the plan for the Jan 6. demonstration.

“We four schemed up of putting maximum pressure on Congress while they were voting,” Alexander said in a now-deleted video on Periscope.

New Evidence Highlights Republican Support For Capitol Siege

MSNBC’s Ari Melber walks through the evidence and emphasizes that the insurrectionists share Sen. Ted Cruz’s goal of overthrowing the election – new video revealing rioters argued Cruz would support their crimes.
