Republicans are the Enemy of the Poor and Middle Class

Paul Ryan’s anti-poverty agenda is a SHAM. His idea of helping the poor is to completely eliminate food stamps, social security, medicare and medicaid.

Paul Ryan frequently talks about “taker & makers”.  If anyone is a “taker”, it’s Paul Ryan. He’s a career politician who’s been on the public dole his entire life, has no real achievement to speak of and has done nothing for “Average Joe” Americans.

Extreme Makeover: Paul Ryan Wants You To Believe He Will Help The Poor

The Washington Post’s Lori Montgomery reports on ” an ambitious new project ” Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) plans to roll out next year: “an anti-poverty plan to rival his budgetary Roadmap for America’s Future in scope and ambition.” While the proposal is still light on details, Ryan’s advisers promise “kinder, gentler policies to encourage work and upward mobility.”

Paul Ryan: Poor People Need Jesus, Not Food Stamps

More bold truths from a bold truth-teller.

ALL Republicans are in principle against government programs and Paul Ryan is no different.  They vilify government programs by calling them “socialism” and “communism”.

Paul Ryan’s American Healthcare Act Is a Wealth Grab, Not A Health Plan

The American Healthcare Act is primarily Paul Ryan’s bill which contains a wish list things Republicans has been wanting to do like cuts to medicare, medicaid & social security which would affect the middle class & the poor while giving handouts & tax breaks to the wealthy.

The 400 highest-earning households in the country would get an average tax break of $7 million per year under the Republican plan.

Paul Ryan called a Monster for Dreaming about cutting Medicaid Since College

On a show hosted by Ari Melber on MSNBC, guests Joan Walsh and Nancy Giles called Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan a “monster” and said the way Senate Republicans had handled health care reform has been criminal.

Walsh stated:  I’m thinking, “What the hell kind of a country are we, Ari, that Michael has to lose sleep wondering if he can stay in his home with his family?” I mean, what is this family supposed to do? Paul Ryan has been dreaming about cutting this program since he was sitting — hanging out at keggers in college — he’s told that story.

Giles added… “What kind of a monster is he? Who dreams of cutting Medicaid? They act like people are merely takers — they act like they don’t understand hardship of any kind. Paul Ryan — who actually got Social Security as a survivor when his father died. I mean, the cruelty of this bill is beyond belief”.

Paul Ryan Has Fantasized About Cutting Medicaid Since College

Under president Bush, Republicans ran up a huge debt of 10 Trillion Dollars.  Now, they want to balance the budget on the backs of the poor and middle class, by cutting food stamps, social security, medicare and medicaid while refusing to cut military spending.  The cold war is over… we don’t need to spend trillions on the military any more.   That money should be spent on the American people, the poor, the homeless, not bombs and wars.

Makers versus Takers

A new study shows that despite the makers vs. takers rhetoric pushed by many Republicans, red states are the most dependent on the government.

The United States has been spending 900 Million a week for the past 10 years in Afghanistan. Republicans has no problem spending trillions of dollars on the military, but they want to cut programs like food stamps, medicare, social security, etc which benefits regular Americans and the poor.

Republicans voted to cut 39 Billion Dollars from the Food Stamp program, but have no problem giving tax breaks to the wealthy.

Food stamp cuts to create ‘hunger cliff’

About 47 million poor people are about to have less to eat — and the worst may still be coming.

Congressman Who Gets Millions In Farm Subsidies: Food Stamps Stealing ‘Other People’s Money

Rep. Stephen Fincher (R-TN) agitated against food aid for poor Americans included in the Farm Bill during last week’s House Agricultural Committee debate, accusing the government of stealing “other people’s money.” Funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) has already been decimated in both the House and Senate versions of the Farm Bill, cutting off nearly 2 million working families, children, and seniors from food assistance.

Fincher invoked the Bible in his defense of the devastating cuts, quoting, “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” Read the whole story here

Congressman Quotes Jesus In Bid To Gut Food Stamps

While Republican Stephen Fincher cites chapter and verse to prove that it is immoral for out of work folks to mooch off government largesse, he fails to mention that his own fingers have been observed in the public till.

Republicans Take Hypocritical Stance In Food Stamp Debate

House Agriculture Committee Republicans who vocally supported billions in cuts to federal food assistance are big-time recipients of government help in the form of farm subsidies.

Reps. Stephen Fincher (R-Tenn.) and Doug LaMalfa (R-Calif.) both cited the Bible last week to argue that while individual Christians have a responsibility to feed the poor, the federal government does not.

Most Republicans claim to be “Good Christians” and constantly site the bible to rationalize their every day actions, but are in fact Hypocrites by doing everything possible to take away assistance to the poor.

Matthew 25:40 says “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me”.

Matthew 25:31-46 says “For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’’

Cutting assistance to the poor is in direct violation of Christ’s teachings.

Stephen Fincher, the second most heavily subsidized farmer in Congress said Washington should not “steal” from taxpayers to support food assistance like the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

Farm Subsidy Recipients Who Voted to Cut Food Stamps

GOP’s definition of freedom means freedom from Social Security and affordable Health Care for most family’s and even freedom from necessary food-assistance benefits for about 170,000 veterans

Republicans are Enemies Of the Poor and Middle Class

If you make less that $30,000 a year you would be crazy to vote for any Republican. Like Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney said” I’m not concerned about the poor”.

Note how Senator Orrin Hatch states “I think it’s abysmal 51% of Americans do not pay income taxes”. That’s because their so poor they barely have enough money to buy food, pay rent and utilities.

The LAST thing they need is more taxes. The rich can afford to pay more taxes, but the poor CAN’T!

Congress dithers while Americans go hungry

Millions of Americans struggle to put food on the table while Congress struggles to negotiate a farm bill linked to SNAP

Republicans REFUSE to increase taxes on the rich but want to increase taxes on the poor. There are many corporations which pays no taxes at all and Republicans refuse to do anything about it. Republicans are protectors of the rich and do not care about the middle class and the poor.

If you have any low income “tea party” republican friends, try to make them understand they are being used and they need to STOP voting for republicans.

Republicans want to take away Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare. Don’t let them! ALL Republicans should be fired 2018

Republicans refuse to increase taxes on the rich and make corporations pay their fair share.  They are blocking all efforts to make the rich and make corporations pay their fair share.  Outsourcing jobs overseas is OK, fine with Repubs.   Repubs refuse to increase the minimum wage.
