My Pillow Mike Lindell Defamation Trial Begins

During an appearance on Steve Bannon’s podcast this past weekend, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell said he’s thinking about bringing one of his MyPillows to the courtroom to give to the lawyer who called his products “lumpy” during a heated exchange in a deposition. It wasn’t immediately clear why Lindell would want to do this, unless it was either for publicity purposes or to show the jury that the pillows aren’t “lumpy” in an attempt to undermine the plaintiff’s lawyers.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s defamation trial is still going on, and things are going very badly for the pillow executive. In the courtroom this week, Lindell managed to mispronounce the word “defamation” by saying “deflamation,” which prompted snickers around the courtroom and caused the plaintiff’s lawyers to ask if they were even talking about the same thing. Unfortunately for Lindell, that wasn’t even the worst thing he did in court this week, as Farron Cousins explains.
